This is a presentation I gave to a couple of incubators and startup gatherings in Southern California in 2015. My basic premise was that as a new startup, it is important to think through your brand, and the marketing of the brand, at the same time as you as you work toward your MVP. It’s never too early to plan how you’ll set up your brand online. Securing your domain name is just the beginning.
This presentation is formatted to span six weeks and walk you through some of the fundamentals of online branding and content strategy. My hope was that it would be easy to work through a checklist of tasks that could take under an hour to complete. At the end of the presentation there is an actual checklist, however to be honest, this presentation is best with a voice over, as I include a lot of specific examples and additional hints.
