I was born in the first week of March, and as such, have bonded with the Pisces cohort group as tightly as I could. In my mind (and I don’t know where I got this) the 12th sign of the horoscope is the last cycle before moving onward to the next level. I’d been told that that makes me an old soul, and as I get older, I believe that to be even more true year by year.
Pisces are said to be extremely friendly, with a variety of friends and acquatencance across a diverse collection of groups. They say we are selfless and helpful, which seems like just the kind of thing to get and retain friends over time.
Not surprisingly, Pisces is a Water sign, and so we have great empathy and expressed emotional capacity. I think this overlaps with my Myers-Briggs, and the Earth Monkey—which strengthens the case that it’s true.
Pisces are ruled by Neptune, which makes us more intuitive than other signs and leads us to pursuit our artistic talents. Neptune drives our connection to music, and from an early age we develop our preferences and love for music a little more broadly than others. Generally Pisces are generous, outwardly compassionate and extremely loyal.
Pisces-born are known for wisdom, stemming from being old souls, but under the influence of the planet Uranus, we can sometimes too easily take on the role of a martyr. We must be careful not to use martyrdom as a way of gaining attention. Pisces are not judgmental, much more forgiving, but we need to protect ourselves from being taken advantage of. They are also known to be most tolerant of all the zodiac signs.
